All Reservations are subject to the following policies:
Hosted check-in time is between 3:00 and 6:00 pm. No check-ins after 6:00 pm unless prior arrangements are made in advance.
Check-out time is 10:30 am.
Accommodations - Prices are based upon double occupancy and include a full breakfast. Each room has a private bath with clawfoot tub with shower. Several rooms have private balconies or porches. One room has a king-size bed. The remaining rooms have a single queen-size bed. Some rooms have a Celeste fireplace. All rooms have independently- controlled central air conditioning/heat. There are no TVs in the Inn or the rooms. Rates range from $119 to $169 a night, double occupancy and are subject to applicable taxes. Rates are subject to change without notice, except for advance deposit reservations. Please note: we accept reservations for specific rooms, but reserve the right to change to a comparable or upgraded room.
Reservations - A deposit equal to a minimum of one night's room rate, or 50% of the entire stay's rate, whichever is greater, is required at reservation time; the balance is due upon check-in. 2 night minimum stay required at all times. One night stays can be accommodated but at a higher rate. You must call for a one- night reservation.
Cancellations - A confirmed reservation obligates both the Folkestone Inn and the guest for the entire length of the stay reserved. While we appreciate that there are many reasons to cancel, we are only able to refund your deposit in the event that we are able to resell the room. If we do not resell your reservation, we will hold your deposit for one year to be used toward a future stay with us. Deposit will then be forfeited if you do not rebook and stay with us in that one year time period. Any cancellation made on the day of arrival, or early check out will incur full charges for all nights reserved.
Payments - We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and cash.
Military Discount - Thank you for your service! We offer a 10% discount to Active Duty Military or Reserve and National Guard on or just departing for/returning from Active Duty. Just be sure to bring your Active Duty ID Card and/or orders to Active Duty in the case of Reserve and National Guard. We'd like to help you make up some of those special moments you've missed while separated from your loved ones while protecting our country.
Gift Certificates - Gift certificates are good for one year from date of purchase. There are no refunds on gift certificates.
Damages - Guests are responsible for payment of damages made to either the Inn or room furnishings. This includes any excessive cleaning fees. Charges to cover the replacement of damaged items will be applied against the guest's credit or debit card.

Our inn is romantic, quiet, relaxing and is best suited for adults only.
The Folkestone Inn is generally a non-smoking inn; we do however, have an area in which you are able to smoke (please ask where that area is if you require it). If we discover that there has been a smoking violation in any other area or within the Inn, a $150 cleaning fee will automatically be added to your credit card.
Pets – Sorry, pets are not allowed.
