AN INN FOR ALL SEASONS Casual and beautifully maintained, our Smoky Mountain Bed and Breakfast is filled with old-fashioned charm (no TVs) but yet has most of the necessary modern amenities (private baths with clawfoot tubs with showers, free wi-fi, CD players). The Inn offers three floors of guest rooms each with a distinct personality and thoughtfully decorated by the owners from upstairs rooms with private balconies and mountain vistas, to romantic ground floor rooms with flagstone floors and low pressed-tin ceilings.
For your complimentary breakfast enjoy Café Cartago coffee with specialties such as omelets with fresh vegetables from our organic garden, pancakes with fresh local blueberries, and French toast stuffed with bananas and walnuts. A light breakfast (fresh fruit and cereal) is available with advance notice. Breakfast is served at 9:00 am unless otherwise notified. At our Inn, we take pride in our bountiful gourmet breakfasts. We use real eggs, dairy, breakfast meats and sugar. We can leave things off your plate but we cannot accommodate "special diets" or make substitutions or change the menu. Our menus are prepared a week in advance and provisions are procured in advance according to the menu. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY.

![]() "We have B&B'd in many countries around the world and this is probably the best we have stayed at. It is located in a very peaceful place surrounded by flower and bird filled gardens, very close to the Great Smoky Mountains. Our room was excellent and the owners seem to have thought of everything for guests comfort and convenience. First class advice on places to visit, with helpful maps and books provided. Eva's breakfasts are quite superb, something we would have been delighted to have been served in many of the top restaurants we have been to around the world, while Steve is an excellent host. Our next trip to the US will take us hundreds of miles from the Folkestone Inn but we are contemplating making the detour - it's that good!" Peter and Lynda Click here to read
