Covid–19 Safety Measures
At the Folkestone Inn we are committed to the safety, health and well-being of our guests. We have adopted new safety protocols and stricter cleaning / sanitizing standards following local, state & federal government and CDC guidelines.
Safety measures we have taken include:
As owners and Innkeepers Toni & Scott have completed the “Count On Me NC” Covid-19 safety training as offered by the North Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association.
Discontinued daily housekeeping to limit exposure to the guests and ourselves. Of course, any items needed will be supplied upon request.
Limit seating capacity in our dining room to 50% or no more than 10 people per seating
Offering breakfast “to go “for those who are not comfortable eating in the dining room.
Offering “cook your own” picnic dinner basket to grill in our front lawn picnic area for those not wanting to eat dinner in town.
Practice social distancing
Daily sanitizing of all high touch areas around the Inn
Available hand sanitizer in each guest room and in multiple public areas around the Inn
As this is an ever-changing situation, we will continue to monitor standards, guidelines, and CDC recommendations and adapt our protocols as needed.
The Folkestone Inn is proud to be a locally owned small business. With only 10 rooms we can ensure the highest sanitation standards.
Innkeepers Toni and Scott Rowe are both certified participants in North Carolina's "Count On Me NC" program, a public health initiative that empowers guests and businesses to help keep everyone safe from COVID-19.
