After indulging yourself with a long bubble bath in your clawfoot tub, curl up in one of our comfy robes and relax to soothing sounds from the CD player in your room. Plan tomorrow's activities using the in-room activities notebook and copy of "Day Hikes of the Smokies" - yours to enjoy while you are staying with us. So that all guests can experience the rest and relaxation they came for, we do not have televisions at the Inn. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY.

The Folkestone Inn offers exceptional accommodations with ten guest rooms on three floors. All have private baths with old-fashioned clawfoot tub with shower; hair dryers, herbal soaps, shampoos, and bubble bath.

We offer two forms of air conditioning - central air with in-room independent controls, or cool mountain breezes and slowing turning ceiling fans. In some rooms, a Celeste fireplace provides the ambiance of a gently flickering fire. 

Each upstairs room has a private balcony, and each main floor room has a porch or private deck. Of course, all guests enjoy the quiet, seating areas scattered around the grounds, especially the swing and the hammock - perfect for napping. The front porch is a popular spot for socializing or reading a favorite book.

All ten rooms are double occupancy; nine with queen beds and one (Falls & Creeks) with a king bed. Some rooms offer a balcony, deck or private entrance.

 Long holiday weekends require a three night minimum stay; weekdays and weekends between May 1 and November 1 require a two night minimum stay.
