The Folkestone began in the early '20s as a rural farmhouse surrounded by cornfields, gardens and pastures. Today, much of that farmstead feeling remains.

Our garden provides fresh herbs and veggies for our legendary farm-to-table breakfasts. And our beloved flock of hens provides our kitchen with the freshest eggs.

The cornfield is now a sprawling front lawn with plenty of room to chase frisbees or do your morning yoga. Closer to the house, handmade aderondack chairs surround a firepit that comes to life many evenings. A picnic area on the creek in front of the inn with grills and tables is the perfect spot to enjoy one of our picnic lunches or our full meal prepared to grill at your leisure. Learn more
